I found soluzion , go apps and downoad older version 1.9.4 its work. Its same that the new version 1.1.00 have problem

I have also installed version 1.94 again. Now everything works again. Please test updates a little better before you make them available

i try it everything , old OP Volumio, New OP Volumio, with this new update 1.1.00 dont work it, just when i put a version befor the new 1.9.4. its work , now i dont have update it to new , for me works the app is the same as the new the new dont work for me for now…maybe i try it , but i think there have a bug in app ???

I will not be upgrading to ver 1.10.0 until all bugs have been addressed. I was hoping to be an early adopter but will wait and see for now. I am sure Volumio is doing their very best to address our concerns as they have previously done with others.

UK an only 1.9.4 in the App store. Running iOS 18.3.2 :frowning:

Where to get old app version for Android? I will try too with my Galaxy S5!

The same for me.

It appears v1.1whatever Android App blows up on Samsung devices?? I too am getting a garbage screen after selecting my volumio device? I was running the beta so reinstalled Volumio 3.799 on my device (rp3b) and reinstalled the app on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite…still not working :frowning:

Good morning Marco,
thank you for the notice. I will try it soon.
Could you please tell me if it’s enough to use the app for self-installation, or if I need to uninstall the previous version first and then install the new one?
Thank you. Marco

Update on the Issue You Reported

Hi everyone,

We wanted to inform you that the issue reported has been acknowledged and is currently under analysis by our technical team.

Hi,

I have two devices with Volumio, one on X86, the other on raspberry pi 5.
I operated both with the dedicated Android app without any problems.

After updating volumio to version 3.799 and (at the same time) after changing the plan to premium, the app for Andriod stopped working.
On the main page it still shows both devices (and information about the last song played) but after selecting either of them, a black screen is displayed.
The app for Android is in the latest version dated April 22, 2025.
Oh, the notification element, with shortened playback controls - still works. It is impossible to switch to full-screen view.
I don’t know what’s the cause: upgrading Volumio or switching to the premium plan, which I think integrates both devices.
Through https://myvolumio.org, both devices can be accessed normally.
I would appreciate a suggestion - how to restore the functionality of the Android app.

small update:
it turns out that the problem is with the app on the Huawei P30 Pro phone (Android 11). On a Lenovo tablet, the app works fine (Android 16).

Thank you to everybody that has reported feedback.

The iOS version of the app is still under review from Apple, but should make it to the App Store at some point.

We have identified the problem behind the black screen on some Android versions and have a fix ready, but one of the core developers for the app is currently being affected by the power outage in Spain.

iOS app update installed. Works no problem, maybe a little smoother.
Unfortunately the ‘bug’ concerning movement to and from the album list still happens. Ie. Return from viewing an album track listing to the album cover view does not return to the same location. I often find it returns me to near the end of my list. Can somebody please acknowledge this - tried a couple of posts previously, as have others.
Thank you, keep up the good work.

Set back to version 1.9.3 on my Android 6.0.1 Samsung Galaxy S5, now Volumio app works again without problems. Waiting for new version (1.1x.x) to give next try.

I’ve checked my old LG G6. It is on Android 9. App newly installed works.

Update from 1.10.0 to 1.10.1 on my samsung tab 6 lite with android 13 and it works now. Thanx
