Network path to music folder not found

I’m a long time user of PiMusicbox…Nice but I feel there may be some issues as to how it handles the Allo Boss so I thought I’d give Volumio a try. I’ve been playing with it for a few days without success (Boss remains silent) and I can only access the UI via volumio and not IP, Anyway decided to try the Beta and everything just worked straight away except for the ability to add a network drive. The drive is connected via usb to my Gargoyle router and is accessible from Windows explorer and PIMusicbox at //192.168../Data/MUSIC a scan in Myvolumio shows /GARGOYLE/Data and no matter how I try to configure the fields I get an error (which disappears before I get chance to read it.) I Would be grateful for any pointers as to how this is handled in Volumio.

Regards…

Have you tried to add “vers=1.0” in mount option?
Have a look here https://volumio.github.io/docs/FAQs/Audio_Sources.html

Thanks for taking the time to reply,

‘vers=1.0’ worked straight away, unfortunately the other problem has shown up again, the system has been left running since yesterday, just tried to play a few tracks and no output from the Boss tried disabling I2s, reboot, enable, reboot, a few times…Still nothing.

Are you sure your hardware is working? The boss DAC is known to be very well supported.(I own one). What is the mixer settings.

Sorry for the delayed reply I’ve been trying to find out what the problem is…Seems you were right again it’s a hardware fault (amp), Just my luck that it was cutting out only when I was trying to use Volumio, anyway it’s dead now with whatever I throw at it, Time for an upgrade I think.

Thanks very much for your help and hopefully everything will work fine when I replace the offending item.
