NAS track names all start with 'The'

There’s one thing I can’t sort out with Volumio 2.457; one CD’s worth of tracks that an older version of Volumio started every track name with ‘The’. In this instance, ‘The Hunting of The Snark’ by Mike Batt now has tracks that Volumio thinks are called ‘The Introduction’ (should be simply ‘Introduction’), ‘The Midnight Smoke’ (should be ‘Midnight Smoke’), and so on. If the track actually did start with ‘The’, it’s untouched, and not doubled up. At the folder level, one up, refreshing the folder makes no difference. I don’t know of a way to remove tracks from Volumio without deleting from the NAS, refreshing Volumio, then re-adding to the NAS, and then Volumio. Anyone got any ideas, please?

So I moved the entire sub-directory to a different machine, clicked on ‘Update Folder’ in Volumio, and there the folder wasn’t, just as one would hope… I then moved the sub-directory back onto the NAS again, got Volumio to re-scan with ‘Update Folder’ and lo! the track names all had ‘The’ in front of them again. Where’s Volumio buffering these things, please?
