nas synology not "seen"in volumio

Hi all,

Started with volumio , great software and a good enhancement for my audio system. A big thanks to the developers of Volumio

Have a problem with connecting my Nas to volumio

Tried cfs and nfs with options vers=1.0 /2,.0 / 3.0 but no luck
Checked the knowledgebase of synology , but founding no results

Configuration is a raspberry 3.0 with hifiberry digi and volumio latest image

Want to add the Nas-drive in music-settings with ip address 192.168.1.100/volume1/music but get error that such drive doesn’t exits and can’t mount, although when I look with filemanger in windows in can see all music files, also when i burn another image on the sd card like picoreplayer or kodi I have access to the Nas , only not with volumio

Hopefully get some help on this forum , thanks in advance

I’m using a Synology NAS and it works perfectly.
Have you entered username/password when setting up the share?
Also don’t remember exactly, but the right way to set up the share is likely ip/music. Remove “volume1”.

Ciao,

Internet is your friend : volumio.github.io/docs/Good_to_ … _NFS_Share

Ok, I’ve got the same issue when I moved from my old Nas to Syno NAS.
It works fine for me, hope it will work for you.

A ”normal” cifs share works fine for me.
I checked my config:
IP for the Synology
Just “music” (without slashes) in the path field
Username + password
