Just wanted to share my recent build. Volumio with touch display. All enclosed in solid walnut box.
This started as a vinyl stand/display for “now playing” record.
At some point I got a Raspberry Pi and decided to build offline player. Then I came up with this idea to combine those two. And here it is (not finished yet- missing two brass rods for vinyl display).
Touchscreen is a Waveshare 7.9 display. Raspberry Pi 5, and Raspberry Pi DAC pro, 2 TB internal SSD.
On the back are on/off switch, 12V power supply input, Ethernet port (in case I need to connect to the world), USB-A and USB-C.
