MQA no longer works after updating to version 3.396

Hi,

I have updated to the latest version of Volumio (3.396) and MQA no longer works. All files are being sent to the dac at 44.1 16 bit. Previously all MQA files worked perfectly and MQA and their streaming rates were displayed.

Everything was working fine on the previous version.

I’m using a Raspberry Pi 4 into a Gustard X26 pro DAC

Did you do anything with the audio settings.
Volumio will only pass through MQA if the audio channel hasn’t been altered.

  • Volume control to None
  • No resampling
  • No plugins like DSP installed

I haven’t changed anything other than update to 3.396

  • No resampling - No resampling
  • No plugins like DSP installed - No plugins installed except touch display

please post a log (how to)
Running x-68 - V3.396 and no issues with MQA test tracks. So I doubt this is related to V3.396.

Can you take a look as soon as the logs have been posted?

Using a similar set up, Pi4 and Gustard X16 MQA enabled DAC. I am accustomed to Volumio showing 44.1 khz and 16bit on the screen, but it used to show the correct settings on the DAC display. I am using version 3.424 and now MQA no longer shows on the DAC, just PCM.
