Monitor is never going to sleep

Hi, I am using Volumio 3.324 on PI 4B with a Suptronics X450 DAC and a Waveshare 13.3" touch screen. I am using the Classic user interface. All works fine but the screen never goes to sleep. In the Touch Display plugin, Scrensaver timeout is set to 60 seconds. After 60 seconds the display is darken but the backlighting of the monitor remains forever on. Shall I report this as a bug ?

  1. Connect to Volumio via SSH .

  2. Open “/boot/userconfig.txt” with nano (editor):

sudo nano /boot/userconfig.txt

  1. Add
hdmi_blanking=1

to the file and save it by typing Ctrl+x, y and Enter.

  1. Reboot.
