This is the second time I have had this problem. The first time was during an electric storm and a serious power dip. This time I am not sure what happened but my PI ip address has been scrambled an it no longer appears on my network.
I have tried rebooting it but no luck.
Last time I re-installed Volumio on the SD card and had to go through the complete setup again.
This time I thought I would ask if I removed the SD card there was a way I could edit the IP to make it visible.
I have both a Windows PC and a Mac, but no Linux machine.
I often use WinSCP when the PI is on the network and even sometimes PuTTY, but I am not very experienced with them. Could they access the files on the SD card if connected it to my PC?
