Install volumio on raspberry pi as commend SSH?

i think that you will have a problem loading your UI next to volumio … i use arduino’s for my leds
because the UI of volumio will redirect all things back to volumio
and doesn’t let you do anything else next to it
just try << your pi’s ip >> /banana and you will see what i mean…

why? ledfx is end with port 8888 and volumio as not

i don’t think that it will work or you have to alter the volumio re-director

Is it possible to hear the sound also via the web (192.168.1.46)

that’s local dude not via your wan ip and no only on your outputs… it’s a web controlled player
sound comes out of your dac or pi or hat…

If you mean https streaming, this was discussed here

is thare away to hear the sound from web ui on another pc and not from the machine that volumio install on him?

never tried it so i don’t know yet, if the post of bobykus don’t work i really don’t know.

do i need to install mpd first?
Because I do not find it in the list of plugins

mpd is the player on volumio…

I do not know if I am doing the right thing:
I added this:
audio_output {type "httpd" name "My HTTP MPD Stream" port "8000" format "44100: 16: 1"}
At the bottom of the file
/volumio/app/plugins/music_service/mpd/mpd.conf.tmpl
and I did enable it: MPD Clients to change Volume

I would really suggest you try reading up a little - this isn’t the version of mpd that Volumio runs, but it should give you an idea.

That just allows mpd to control the volume directly.

To really enable it, make the changes to the /volumio/app/plugins/music_service/mpd/mpd.conf.tmpl file (I would suggest backing it up first just for just in case) and then restart Volumio.

Good luck!

i add like this:

and after reboot no sound on 192.168.1.80

i find this guide but it not working for me
192.168.1.80:8000 Unaccessible

Can I stream out from Volumio to other PCs? : raspberry_pi (reddit.com)
** I installed volumio on an x86 laptop because I needed the Raspberry Pi for something else

Did you check your logs?

no how do i do that?

Maybe I should install a snapcast? So I installed the plugin and this is what appears in the log

What version of Volumio are you on?

I must warn you that what you are trying to achieve is not the normal use case Volumio was designed for. So don’t expect to get step by step guides/help on how to achieve this.
Do expect to spend some time figuring things out on your own.
When you do manage to get things working, do please share how you achieved it in the case someone else would like to follow suit.
