My otherwise wonderful DAC (Revo DS-2 by Norma Audio) unfortunately cannot change sample rates “on the fly” without some small fade-in “gap”.
Means: The DAC fades in sound/volume by itself after a sample rate change.
This fade-in tends to swallow the first half second or so, which is annoying when streaming playlist with songs of differing sample rates.
Is there a way to tell Volumio to send some leading “zeros” of maybe 0,5 seconds length after a sample rate change? This would solve my issue.
I don’t want this behaviour with every track, but only after a sample rate change.
