Hi all.
I’m running volumio with a x 86 NUC.
All’s good, but I’ve always the same problem, impossible to see my NFS folder on my Synology DS 214.
I’m sure there’s something wrong, but what…?
With volumio, I can see my NAS, automatically discovered, but no NFS folder.
No problem with My Freebox revolution.
Can you help me?
Thx!
Have you tried manually adding your NAS in the Volumio UI? It looks ok from the NAS side.
Yes, I tried, same problem…
Is it another way to share folders than NFS?
I can try…
You could try cifs, but there is no reason for nfs not to work (I have a Synology ds214se, and it works fine). If you’re still struggling after trying cifs, then post a screenshot of the Volumio UI when you try manually adding the NAS ie. show the settings you’re trying to use.
Your screenshot from earlier shows the shared folder on your NAS as being ‘/volume1/Music’. In your last screen shot of the UI, you have the path set as ‘/volume1/music’ … note the capital letter.
oh big mistake!
BUt I tied with or without capital letter, it was the same.
But I found…!
I just need to enter login and password of one of my accounts it can access to the shared folder…
Like this, if I can help someone…!
But I’ve another problem…I don’t know I f I’ve to create another thread:
I launched rescan for my database, but only 7 folders were indexed.
But I’ve normally 120 diferent folders…
How to force a build of a complete database?
Glad you’ve sorted it. NFS shouldn’t need user/password info … this is something new that Synology is doing at the NAS end.
Yes, please make a separate post for your new problem (Perhaps this is also permissions related???)
I don’t know why, but this morning, all is working correctly…!
Really thx for your help!
