impossible to find my DAC

hi, Volumio cannot find my DAC USB Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital; i’ve used it with headphone before, all was fine, and now Volumio find only a cheapo DAC, BUT I DON’T HAVE A CHEAPO DAC… I’ve unplugged my headphone and nothing is working, no sound, no DAC…

What’s the problem ? When I want configure my system, imposible to find my Pro-Ject, only a cheapo DAC (!?!).

Before that all worked great; that’s crazy i don’t understand anything, PLEASE HELP ME !

I’ve upgraded my system to the new version but nothing changes…

My configuration : Pro-ject DAC connected in USB with USBridge, cambridge amplifier…

PS : my Pro-Ject works with USB 3.0 port, but not to my “USB host”… before the “USB host” port works fine since 3 months… very strange.

Is the “USB host” the cleanest port or that’s the “USB 3.0” port ?

What’s Volumio running on? That’d give a clue as to what USB ports are doing what and what the host OS is actually…

I’m running on mac OS 10.14.5 (the latest mojave) but i don’t have any changes on this OS since 3 weeks and it will be OK until yesterday and my headphones test…

This afternoon I’ve plugged the DAC on my USB 3.0 port and it works normally like that, but impossible to plug with the “USB host” port, the system cannot find the Pro-Ject Box… before it works with this port, that’s incomprehensible…

At the risk of missing something obvious and sounding incredibly stupid, I wasn’t aware that Volumio could run on a Mac. PCs, yes, SBCs like the Pi or Odroid, yes, but a Mac? Are you running Volumio from within a VM such as Parallels or VMWare?
