How to copy files to my Volumio Atom mini-pc over the intern

Hi All,

Enjoying this amazing simple but yet powerful piece of software that even runs on some old D-cells (joke) I would like to place all my music files on it’s extra internal HDD (first HDD is a M.2 32GB SSD) and also backup my playlists that are generated by the backup and restore data plugin.
Connecting to my device works as a charm and playing music too.
Using putty to SSH to it works fine too.

Here’s my question: What kind of software can I use to look “under-da-hood” of the volumio device over the internal network and copy some 500GB of flac and WAV files to it’s second harddisk?
Is it possible to tell Volumio that it’s device has been upgraded with a 1TB HDD?? (mounting and formatting for storage use)

Long time ago I tested my internet connection with a small software programm and was able to transfer big files as a test but I can’t remember it’s name

Any help would be welcome

I use Volumio s hotspot and use my pc to see its connected usb hard drive, in network, and copy my files over via that, just copy and paste them in.
Transfer rate is only about 4-5MB a second but it works fine.
