How do you refresh album view after updating meta data?

Hi

I have added a few compilation albums and for some reason in album view instead of appearing via Album they appear via artist then album. I made a few changes to the metadata and updated and re-scanned the library. Now in album view a new album has been created but the old albums are still present but without a cover. Click either will album will still list the tracks. I obviously want the double ups removed and so /i can see if my meta adjustments actually work.
How do I do this?

The issue seems to be how the Albums and Artists are grouped together based on meta data. I can group compilations together via the “Album Artist” tag which makes sense; however if I then search via “Artist” in volumio it also uses this tag, so entire compilations now appear as by one artist.

Where am i going wrong? I want compilations of various artists to appear as a single album under album view, but if I search via artist I want the individual artists grouped together.
