@volumio IMHO the wiring instructions over here should state that the dedicated wires for SDA and SCL do not have to be connected except for Pi 1 A and B (without the “+”). AFAIK only these two models don’t have the SDA and SCL lines on their DSI connector (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/display/legacy.md).
