I am a 44 French IT engineer, working mostly on Linux stuff.
I have UK Hi-Fi components : Rega Brio R + Rega DAC R + Cambridge Audio Azur 540C + Bowers & Wilkins DM601
and now a brand new DigiOne Player running Volumio !
I guessed Volumio came pre-installed on the bundle but I was wrong : the microSD card was empty. Never mind I flashed it with the last release of Volumio. Everything works great (net radio, play hi-res files with HiFi Cast from my android) !
Just one little problem : Volumio find my NAS but does not list flac files. I must investigate further.
Welcome on board! If you run into problems you can always ask for help here, but since you’re working with Linux yourself I think you can help yourself better than most of us can
I am using Volumio with the digione too, so I Will be happy to help.
NB: I am using it without a Nas, so I can’t help for this specific issue. Flacs read perfectly on Hard drive connected to digione though, so it may be a little thing to tune
Eventually, I find my flac files on the NAS (pebkac error)
Moreover I stream Qobuz with BubbleUPnP from my Android device, and with pulseaudio-dlna from my Linux laptop.
