Hard disk withe another Raspberry

Goodmorning everyone
I apologize in advance if my application has already been processed but unfortunately I can not find anything about it.
I have a Raspberry + dac HifiBerry with Volumio and a hard disk (with its power supply) connected to a USB port of the Raspberry.
Before buying a second Raspberry for another room (I do not care about the multiroom, but I care that the two Raspberry can see the same hard disk and he Volumio can manage both devices), someone has had similar experiences, ie : the second raspberry will see the hard disk connected to the first?
And volumio can work on both?

You will have to make a samba share of your hdd before the second RPi will be able to connect to it.
