FusionDsp : the complete Dsp center for Volumio3!

In that case, set a paramedic mode with no filter.
But you won’t hear any difference…

Thanks, that’s the way I will do it.

A little bit cumbersome, but at least works.

Hi,

Volumio 3 doesn’t save FusionDSP presets (I use it with Rivo). I click on ‘Save’ but there’s no presets there when I want to choose.

(The same happens with favourites, but it is a smaller problem for me at the moment)

I have tried the web app and iOS app as well.

Any hints? Thanks.

Please avoid opening new topics for the same issue, as supporting you this way is difficult.

So you did do this?

And when trying to load it’s missing?

First of all, thanks for your help.

Of course I do it that way, it’s quite straight forward. But sadly doesn’t work in either the iOS or the web app. It shows “undefined” both ways.

Ok that’s weird, it should work without problems this way.

Please keep in mind that we have no visibility on your device, all we can do is asking questions to get an understanding, when a device is not behaving as it should.

I will move this to the correct topic, for better visibility.

In the meantime:

  • please reboot the Rivo
  • When up and running create a random DSP filter and save it under the name “Test_01”
  • Execute the steps to load the newly created filter (even though it might fail again)
  • Please post a log and copy the generated URL here.

I can’t do it because the preset isn’t saved, hence I can’t load it of course.

There’s only an “undefined” text in the field where the saved presets should be.

These are steps to generate the log, so we can see what is going wrong.
Still need the log after you executed the previous steps.

I have done it, thanks.

I don’t see the URL??

No log = no investigation. Ever.

hello,
First, we need log!
What is the mode of DSP you use?

  • graphic
  • parametric
  • convolution
In graphic mode, do you see Factory preset such as
    image
Check if the shared folder exists
/INTERNAL/FusionDsp/presets

and contains sub folders

Can you write in this sub folders?
Do you see something in it?
If nothing exists, remove and reinstall the plugin.
It seems something is corrupted on your system…
But, please, reboot, try to save a preset and generate a log link.
Thank you

Hi,

I have posted a log and get a feedback with this Jira code: GDSC-4847

But I’m pretty sure it’s not FusionDSP but Volumio related, because I also can’t save my favourites.

iOS, Android, and PC, same results.

I don’t see the factory presets either:

edit: I have repeated the log send, here’s the URL:

http://logs.volumio.org/rivo/6IFazqA.html

Thanks for the log,

Can you uninstall FusionDSP, reboot and install again.
I see a lot of errors in the log.

plus you don’t use last version of FusionDsp.

@balbuze I saw different behaviour. Up to 4.072 your plugin need some time to be installed and it’s similar on each previous version. On 4.073 installation time is at least 5x time shorter. Anyway sound on 4.073 seems worse. Maybe its quieter also. (I use -5dB but auto preamp off). Is possible that installation is broken or some packets are added to 4.073 to be installed faster. Thx.

@marcinmarcin

I believe @nerd already explained that the upgrade only changed the Node repository URL. Please remove FusionDSP, reboot, and reinstall FusionDSP. On the message click + Show details.

Before enabling it, copy the generated log from the message and post it here. It looks like your FusionDSP installation is failing, and without that data we can’t provide support.

If you re-install FusionDSP it will go faster as needed libraries have already been installed.
