Does update work?

I am waiting for the continuous play - auto advance to work on v.3 when controlled by the 3rd party software. It worked fine in v.2 but not after the OS was regretfully updated to v.3. There was an update after that, but it did not solve what I was hoping it would change. Now on the front Volumio page I see there is
VERSION: 3.235
RELEASE DATE: 03-03-2022

for ASUS Tinkerboard. Mine is 3.233. When clicking on “Check Updates” the top banner says “Please wait … Ok” and nothing happens. Ok brings back to the System Settings page.

Is the update now broken too?
