Delete music database and rescan

Hello V community.

Is there a way of deleting the music database but not delete the music?

I have 2tb of music that i transfered via winspc and it took days.

The music is not updating (even after hitting the update button) and volumio is skipping songs or just not playing songs in the database.

I have also tried hitting rescan but it’s not doing anything.

Let me get this correct.

  • You have copied via Winscp to /<your-device-ip>/data/INTERNAL/xxxx
  • image
  • Did you have a previous scan from some other location prior to you copying it over?
  • You pressed Update in Source, without any visible increase increase of the number of tracks?

  • if you go to Music library and click on “INTERNAL”, nothing is there?

You are partially correct. I do see the songs in internal… but when i transfer more.music over, it’s not updating.

The files you copied over on a later time, have still as owner volumio?

Correct. I had about 96000 songs and i added over 1000. I clicked update and the numbers don’t change under source.
