Clicking on tracks in the app issue

In the official app on several android devices when I press a track to play - the app registers my taps as one track below the one I clicked. So it starts to play whatever is below the track I tapped.

Anyone else experiences this?

Only have noticed it when streaming Qobuz, which has been reported.

Oh yea, that’s all I use.

I get this with tidal too.

How is this not a bigger deal for more people? The issue has been there for years and it’s my biggest problem with volumio…

Depends on your usage.

If you load a playlist from Qobuz, the issue you’re describing, only happens when you click on the top Play button. If you just click on the first track from that playlist, everything works fine.

Oh no, that’s not an issue I’m describing. My issue is that when I’m in a playlist and I click on any track - usually the track below it starts to play. But not always, so there is no consistency in the bug. Sometimes the first track from that playlist starts playing (even though I clicked on a track somewhere in the middle).

@volumio
Hi Michelangelo, can you take a look at this.

@Kirk_Sky
Can you, to assist the Volumio folks, provide logs when this is happening.
I’ve have seen this (your latest reply) but it’s very rare. Looking at your messages it happens more often with your system.
On what hardware are you running Volumio?

This bug has been there since volumio 2, never found a reliable method to reproduce it thought.

Happens on all streaming sources with every client software, so the proplem must be in common code, i tried to hunt it down for a while but did give up on that.

Only impression (more a guess) is that low end devices are more vulnerable to these issues.
With a rPi it seems I have more troubles/glitches then running the same on a x86-i5

I have been having this problem with Qobuz for many months and I have reported it
