CD ripping issues

Hi all!

My system doesn‘t let me play any source of music while a CD get‘s ripped. It feels somewhat frozen.
External CD drive and HDD are connected via a powered USB hub.

How can I solve this?

Do you have Infinity play on and a queue > 20 tracks?

Everything works fine again after a reboot. But same issue again when ripping a CD.

Dear @Wheaten,

do you need more information from my side?

Best Regards,
Paul

@DED

Any suggestion, I can’t replicate this so unable to provide any suggestion.

Hello,

can you please try to rip the CD by unplugging first the HDD from the powered usb hub? So you will have only the CD drive connected.
Select the internal memory as destination of the ripping.
Alternatively try to connect the HDD directly to an USB port of the device (bypassing the powered hub).

Give it a try and let us know
Thanks
