Cannot Upload files from iPad via SMB or Connect via SSH/SFTP

Problem:
• I can connect to volumio.local in the iPad Files app. but only if I connect as Guest. It shows the folders USB, NAS, and Internal Storage — but it’s read-only, so I can’t upload files.
• When I try to connect as a registered user (volumio / volumio), I get this error:
“Invalid username or password for the server.”
• I also tried connecting via IP address (smb://192.168.x.x) — same issue.
• I attempted to enable SSH from http://volumio.local/dev, but clicking Enable doesn’t seem to activate it
• SFTP access (port 22) also fails with “server not reachable”.
• I’ve already done a factory reset, but the problem persists.
