Can access GUI via IP but not volumino.local

Hi

I was having allot of trouble accessing the interface via volumio.local but not the IP. I have set my router to allocate the same IP in the interim. What can I try to get the .local call working?

First off, try using just ‘volumio’ not ‘volumio.local’.

If you’re accessing the UI from a Windows box, then you may need to install ‘Bonjour’ …a service that finds devices/services on the local network. If you’re using Linux, then you need ‘Avahi’.

Volumio/ worked a treat on both Android and Windows. Happy again :wink:
