Is there any chance of seeing updates to this app that include the “Play here” option? Opening Volumio outside of your local network using the browser on your smartphone isn’t as stable: often, if you switch to another app, playback stops.
Even the official app lacks this functionality, but considering what I think of it (see my comment just above), I would definitely prefer to see an update of this Volumio Control app

, but am I the only one who considers the development of a native Android app for Volumio a priority?
As I suggested above, I think it would be wise to follow the path taken by Joni and, as a long-time Volumio user with a lifetime license, I firmly believe the service would take a huge leap in quality with an updated native Android app that allows access to settings (as you can do from the browser or the official app) and to the play.volumio service.
Is this something the development team is working on, or should I just stop hoping for it (and stop flooding the topic )?

Seems so, it seems i haven’t filed the “data safety form” for the application.(gpdr…?).
Must have missed the mail from Google so they removed it since the due date was already, I can take a look if I can still file it or if something else is needed as well now.
