Alsa error with DSD128 and DSD256

i have the latest volumio and from iancanada the isolator pi and dop decoder board which makes dsd over i2s possible working perfectly with my soekris dam1021. only little problem is when i try to play a DSD128 and DSD256 file i get an error: [alsa]: Failed to configure DSD-over-PCM on ALSA device “hw:1,0”.
any solution?

I have no such material, so I can’t help you by testing it on my setup. Are there any sample files available for that format?

sure  2l.no/hires/ here we go

would be great if michelangelo can fix that

hey there im on the latest version 2.389 and i can now play dsd128 and dsd256 but it seems that the dop over pcm is somehow messed up because my dsd64 files are recognized on my soekris dam1021 as L02m which means dsd64 at 2.8mhz but when i try DSD128 i get L192 which means is converted to 192khz :frowning:

any idea ?

cheers and thx
