2.442 beta on Pi3: json commands not working

As per the subject: sending json get commands return an error.
Example: “stop” (sent via browser)
http://volumio/api/v1/commands/?cmd=stop
Response:
{“Error”:“Error: impossible to execute command”}

I have not tested on my Tinkerboard. atm I only run Volumio on PI’s.
