2.378 segmentation failure

Hi

I have been running Volumio for about 6 months now, I have a RPi 3B, justboom dac and amp board and have the official touchscreen in a home made box. I have just tried to upgrade from 2.362 to 2.378 on reboot it all stopped with ‘segmentation failure’ showing on the screen. I cannot SSH into it.

I have just tried a clean install of 2.378 and all is well until the first reboot after running the wizard. I then get exactly the same error message.

Any ideas?

I have never used Linux or anything like this before starting this project - so apologies if there is something obvious I should have done already :slight_smile:

Can you confirm that your sd card is ok ie. try another one

Thanks. Have tried with a brand new SD card. Still the same issue. Have made some progress on understanding the problem.

I use a dink dwa-171 USB wifi stick so that I can turn off the internal wifi and use the bluetooth as a receiver.

I get this error message if I ever try to boot with the dwa-171 plugged in. All is fine if I unplug it.

Is there something in the latest version which has stopped the dwa-171 working?
